Description

The Half Moon and Seven Stars is an early 18th-century public house that has been altered in the mid 19th century. It is constructed of rendered brick with a plain tiled roof. The building is two storeys high, with a basement, and features a plinth and a dentilled eaves cornice to the roof, including kneelers. The roofline steps down to the left to accommodate a hipped extension. Stacks are located to the rear left and project at the end to the right. The first floor has three glazing bar sashes, and the ground floor has a glazing bar sash to the left, a 19th-century mullioned window, and a canted bay. There are half-glazed doors with flights of three steps leading to the centre left and right. Basement openings are located to the left and centre. A weather-boarded outshot with a corrugated iron roof extends to the right. A hipped wing is set to the rear.
