Description
Wayside Cottages is a building that dates back to the 18th century and has been converted into two cottages. It is constructed of red brick and features a plain tiled roof, with a pantiled rear wing. The structure stands two storeys high on a plinth and has a brick eaves cornice beneath a hipped roof, which has stacks on the left side and projects at the right end.
On the first floor, there are two wooden casements and two small central metal casements. The ground floor has three segmental-headed wooden casements. To the right, there is a boarded door, while a doorway on the left has been blocked. At the rear, there is a catslide outshot and a projecting rear wing that includes a rear stack.
