Description
Poosie Nansies House, located at 21 Loudoun Street in Mauchline, is a two-storey public house built with stucco that is white painted with black incised lines to mimic stone courses. The building features three widely spaced sash windows and a long, low ridge slate roof. The front of the pub is simply designed with pilasters and includes two doors along with a central window. It is set back from the adjacent property on Loudoun Street, and to the left, there is a small one-storey shop, J.M. Jamieson (Tobacconist). Inside, the front room on the right contains relics associated with Robert Burns.
