Description
The summerhouse at Springfield, 25 Mansfield Road, Mauchline is a Gothic-style gazebo built in pink ashlar. It is a single storey structure featuring triple ogee-headed lancet windows in the center, with single flanking lights above which are topped by fleur de lys. The building has a battlemented parapet and side gables. This summerhouse is a reconstruction of an earlier garden house that was connected to the Old Archway and The Place, which has since been demolished.
