Description

3 High Street in Mauchline is a two-storey building with painted stucco. It features three sash windows and a central doorway with a pediment. The eaves are moulded, and the roof is covered with slate. This building is known as the "New hoose of the Kilnknowes" and was the residence of John Richmond, a writer and friend of Robert Burns.
