Description

The Bunch of Grapes Public House is a public house located on High Street in Ilfracombe, likely built in the early 19th century. It features painted stucco on the exterior, with the ground floor designed to resemble ashlar through channeling. The roof is covered with synthetic slate and includes a later box dormer. The building stands three storeys tall, with an attic and a cellar. On the front, there are two windows, and to the left, a round-arched entry with a keystone. To the right, there are three similar window openings that are arcaded and have battered sills. The upper floors are fitted with 16-pane sash windows. The interior has not been inspected.
