Description
No. 107 on High Street in Ilfracombe is a mid-19th century building that was originally a house and shop, now used as offices. The front is rendered, and it has a tarred slated roof with a red brick chimney on the right-hand side wall. The building stands three storeys tall and is three windows wide. The ground storey features a 20th-century shopfront but retains older Doric pilasters at each end, with an entablature likely still behind the modern fascia. The upper storeys have sash windows, except for the middle bay of the third storey, which has a blank round-headed panel with a moulded architrave. The two third-storey windows have 6-pane sashes, and the middle window in the second storey retains its upper sash with one upright glazing bar. There is a small wooden eaves cornice. The interior has not been inspected. This building is included for its group value.
