15-19 (Odd Nos) Lainshaw Street

15-19 Lainshaw Street is a terraced tenement building from probably the later 19th century. It stands three storeys high and has three bays, with shops on the ground floor. The upper storeys are finished in painted ashlar, featuring contrasting raised, moulded architraves and a cornice. The first-floor windows have decorative cornices, and the window architraves include reeded cills with block tabs. The cornice soffit is adorned with paterae.

The ground floor has a pair of asymmetrical shop fronts. The central entrance has a later timber door with a two-light fanlight above, leading to flats. The shop on the right features panelled Doric pilasters, stone cills, a stall riser, and a timber fascia with a cornice. The shop on the left has a recessed door with a gated porch and Buttercup Dairy pattern tiles at the entrance. The windows have slender mullions, and the cornice is supported by curved console brackets.

The upper floors predominantly have non-traditional replacement windows, while the ground floor has plate glass. The roof is covered with grey slates, and there are ashlar stacks at the mutual gableheads.
