Description
Haughbank House, located in Haugh of Mauchline, was likely built around 1911 as a house for works managers, part of a significant development related to the Haugh of Mauchline works. It may have involved the remodelling of an existing house. The building is two storeys high and features three asymmetrical bays, with the inner bay having a timber-framed gablet that supports a stack. The exterior is harled and includes single and bipartite windows that are not framed. There is a door on the right side, and a wide inner porch that is not original to the house. The building has end stacks and slate roofs with red ridging, along with additional ranges at the rear.
