Description
The Old Bridge over the River Ayr at Barskimming is a single arch structure made of coursed pink stone. It features flanking splayed buttresses that extend upwards to serve as refuges. The bridge is believed to have been partly rebuilt in the 19th century, while the original construction dates back to the 18th century.
