Description
The water tower on Law Road in Dundee was designed by David Baxter around 1920. It is a square-section, two-stage, one-bay structure built in the style of an old Scottish doocot, using hammer-dressed rubble.
The ground floor has a battered design and features a single light window and a relieving arch on each side. There is a door on the east elevation with an ashlar surround. The upper stage has single light windows on each face.
The tower is topped with a swept pyramidal slate roof, and the windows in the upper stage have a six-pane glazing pattern.
