Description
48 Fort Street is a mid-19th century, two-storey house with three asymmetrical bays. The exterior is harled with painted margins and features a slate roof adorned with terracotta ridge tiles.
On the west elevation, there is a base course and an off-centre door with margins. To the right of the door is a four-pane sash and case window, while to the left is a six-pane sash and case window. Above, a band course separates the first floor, which has a uPVC window on the left and a two-pane sash and case window on the right. A rooflight is present, and there is a coped harled stack on the left side.
