Description

Mid 19th century. 4-storey and basement, 3-bay commercial building. Sandstone coursers, grey slate roof. Lintel band to ground floor, eaves course; single and bipartite margined windows with mostly 2-pane timber sash and case glazing; ashlar-coped skews, corniced ridge stacks; 8 tie-rod plates.

FRONT ELEVATION: modern entrance doorway to centre flanked by single and bipartite windows to left and right with basement windows below, bipartite with single window to left and right at 1st-3rd floors.

REAR ELEVATION: various blocked openings to basement and ground floor, bricked-up goods openings to centre of 1st-3rd floors flanked by single windows, gabled hoist dormer.

INTERIOR: not seen.
