Description
10 Castle Street in Dundee is an earlier 19th-century tenement building that stands four stories tall with an attic. It features a four-bay design and has additional two-storey projections at the rear. The exterior is made of painted rubble with painted ashlar dressings and a slate roof. The windows are four-pane timber sash and case style with ashlar margins.
The front elevation has replacement shopfronts from the late 19th century on the ground floor, with a close entry to the left. There are four windows on the first, second, and third floors, and the attic floor, which is later slate-hung, also has four windows.
At the rear, a four-storey gable is advanced to the center, featuring a door and various windows on all floors of the south elevation, along with a rebuilt gable stack. There is an additional two-storey bay with a mansard roof that projects from the gable.
The interior has not been seen.
