Description

James MacLaren, 1882. Gothic church hall, single-storey and basement, coursed rubble with ashlar dressings.

S GABLE: large blocked 1-2-1 light window. Modern flat-roofed extension at ground flanked by pointed-arched doors and stepped sill course. Half-piended gable with twin octagonal stacks at piends. Louvred timber gothic gablet ventilator with wrought-iron finial.

N GABLE: similarly treated but without large window or basement, 1 stack missing. Central gabled porch flanked by pointed-arched windows.

SIDE ELEVATIONS 5-bay, centre gabletted pointed arched window breaking eaves.

Slate roofs, Windows top-hopper and casement, with multi-paned hoppers. INTERIOR: mock hammer-beam roof with wrought-iron ties.

Rubble-built boundary walls to N, modern wall to S.
