St Roque's Cottage, 62 Dundee Road, Dundee

St Roque's Cottage, located at 62 Dundee Road in Dundee, is an early 19th-century Picturesque villa designed by George Mathewson. The building is a single storey with an attic and features an irregular plan. It has a harled exterior and a slate roof, complemented by ashlar stacks. The windows are primarily 12-lying-pane sash and case with chamfered painted margins, while the attic gables on the north and south sides have round-headed sash and case windows. The eaves are deep, and there are paired moulded diamond stacks.

On the northeast elevation, there are off-centre paired doors and a modern shopfront at the cut-back corner on the left. The right side features an advanced gable with a ground floor window and a round-headed window in the attic, along with a ridge stack. There is also a narrow bay set back on the right with a window and a cat-slide roof.

The southeast elevation has an advanced central gable with a half-glazed door on the left, a window on the right, and a round-headed window in the attic. It includes a ridge stack and flanking windows that are set back from the main elevation, with box dormers above that are out of character. To the left, there is an advanced single-storey canted bay with three windows and a facetted roof, while a flat-roofed addition with a door is located on the right.

Additionally, there is a modern addition to the gable on the east elevation.
