Description

28-36 High Street in Sanquhar is an early 19th-century building that stands two storeys high and features five bays. The exterior is made of painted, droved ashlar. On the right side, there are three doors and a former shop window, which has an ornamented architrave, while a café is located on the left. The first floor has a cill band and plate-glass sash windows. A fragment of a blocked cornice can be seen above the right angle of the building. It has end and axial stacks, and the roof is covered with modern tiles.
