Description

Probably earlier/mid 19th century. Built as parish manse; 2

storeys, 3 bays, gabled wide central porch; painted rubble

with contrasting ashlar margins. Sash windows with 4-pane

glazing pattern; straight skews; (?rebuilt) end stacks; slate

roof. Full-height shallow rear wing, low range adjoins.

Detached outbuilding.

WALLED GARDEN to SW, walls rubble-built with red ashlar cope.

PREVIOUS PARISH MANSE to NW of house, now in poor condition,

and converted for use as a barn. 1761 datestone. 2 storeys,

originally 3 bays, extended to N. Rubble-built with ashlar

dressings, windows mostly blocked leaving only slit

ventilator openings; wide slapping replaces original doorway.

Slate roof.
