Description

Bank House is a villa built around 1800, featuring two storeys over a basement and an attic, with a three-bay facade. The exterior is finished in painted droved ashlar, which includes raised margins around the windows and at the corners, as well as an eaves band course. The central porch is square and has been altered over time; it is enclosed and accessed by curved, cast-iron railed steps leading to a side entrance. The windows are later 2-pane sashes, and there are two dormers on the roof, each with small-pane sashes. Lean-to extensions are present on both side elevations, while the rear of the building is plain. The property is also marked by red sandstone gatepiers that have a square plan, chamfered angles, and pyramid caps.
