Description

The Harbour at Glencaple is an early 19th century quay with a wide, square-ended design. It is primarily constructed from large squared red rubble blocks, while the curved southwest corner and the south wall are made of rough rubble, indicating they may have been built at a different time. On the north side, there are stone steps leading down to the waterline, which is kept free of silt by a stream. The quay features some wooden bollards. Modern buildings are located at both the south and east ends of the quay.
