Description
Conheath is a farmhouse designed by architect Sir Robert S. Lorimer, built around 1917. It is a two-storey, three-bay structure with a lower rear wing. The exterior features snecked, bull-faced red ashlar and a steep-pitched, piended slate roof with swept eaves. The symmetrical west front includes canted windows in the outer bays, which are slate-hung between the floors, and a relieving arch over the inner ground floor window. The roof has symmetrically placed stacks. The rear wing has a steeper-pitched roof with a single piended and swept-eaved dormer on each elevation, along with two tall stacks. There is a modern glazed two-leaf door facing south in the re-entrant angle, and another door in the flat-roofed kitchen range to the east. The windows are small-paned, either sashes or casements.
