Description
The Commercial Hotel on St Cuthbert Street in Kirkcudbright is an early 19th-century terraced house that has likely always included a public house. It stands two stories high with an attic and features four bays. The exterior is made of painted rubble with margins. There is a shared pend on the left side with No 23, and a wide central pend. To the left of the central pend, there are two windows, while to the right, there is one window and a door flanked by narrow sidelights. The first floor has four windows with plate glass sashes. The roof is slate, featuring one piended, canted dormer and one small gabled dormer.
