Description
The Steam Packet Inn, located at 1 and 2 St Cuthbert's Place in Kirkcudbright, is an early 19th-century terraced house that has likely always included a public house. The building is two stories tall with an attic and features four bays. Its exterior is pebbledashed, with painted margins and rusticated quoins on the left side. The central entrance door is flanked by windows, with two bipartite windows in the outer bays. The first floor has four windows, all fitted with plate glass sashes. The roof has four wallhead, piended, canted dormers and features end stacks, all covered with slate.
