Description
This is a house located about 200 metres south of the Church of St Cuthbert, dating from the 18th century and remodelled in the early 19th century. It is constructed of brick and coursed chalk rubble, topped with a pantiled roof. The house has a direct entry and stands two storeys tall, featuring four windows on the first floor. The off-centre door is set beneath an oblong fanlight and is framed by a plain wooden surround. To the left of the ground floor, there is a 20-pane sash window, while all other windows are 16-pane sashes. The building is adorned with a stepped brick eaves cornice and has axial and end stacks with bands, along with plain close verges.
