Description
Littlethorpe Farmhouse is a house dating from the mid-18th century, with a 19th-century extension that matches the original character. It is constructed of red and grey brick and has a slate roof. The house has a direct entry and features a balanced elevation of two storeys with attics, including three windows on the first floor. The entrance consists of a six-panelled bolection moulded door set in a plain surround, topped by an oblong fanlight. All the windows are 16-pane sashes, except for the 12-pane sash located above the door, and they are framed in plain brick surrounds beneath segmental brick arches. The one-bay extension to the right has 12-pane sashes in plain surrounds under segmental brick arches as well. The building is finished with a dentilled eaves cornice, end and axial stacks, and plain close verges.
