Description

The billiard room at Thorpe Hall was built in 1821 and is constructed of brick with a roughcast finish and stone dressings. It is a single-storey building with three bays, and the divisions between the bays are marked by broad pilasters. The front features French windows topped with a fanlight that has radial glazing. A moulded cornice runs beneath a low coped parapet that conceals a low pitch roof. This building, along with the adjoining orangery to the right, is situated on a stone podium consisting of three steps.
