Description

Highfield Farmhouse is a farmhouse built around 1825. It is constructed of red brick in Garden Wall bond and has a pantile roof. The building features a three-cell stairhall plan and is two stories high with a four-window front. To the right of the center, there is a 20th-century door with an overlight set in a glazed pent porch. On the left, there is an altered casement window, while each end of the house has four-pane sash windows, all of which are topped with segmental gauged brick arches. The first floor also has four similar windows that interrupt the stepped brick eaves course. All windows are fitted with stone sills, and there are stacks at the ends and left of center.
