Description

Early 19th century. 2-storey, 2-bay house abutting Town Hall to right. Rubble with squared granite quoins and red sandstone ashlar margins. Door set close to outer right with window above, window toeach floor in bay flanking toleft toward centre. Red post box set in wall to outer left. Single storey cottage adjoined to left. 12-pane glazing pattern in sash and case windows (1 plate glass lower sash). Broad wallhead stack to left return. Grey slates; tiles to rear. Sandstone ridge. Cast-iron rainwater goods.
