Description
Dressertland is a later 19th-century roofed farm midden with a rectangular plan, situated on a slope. It features a banked loading cartway and a lavatory door at the upper level on the twin-gabled north elevation. A tall gabled cartway projects from the southwest corner at the lower level, with a hoist above for raising the gate. The building is constructed of red rubble with ashlar dressings and includes small ventilators below the eaves and in the gable heads. The roofs are gabled or piended, covered with slate, and have rooflights and an axial ventilator.
Inside, the roof timbers are supported on cast-iron columns. The lavatory drains directly into the midden, and the floor is supported on stone corbels.
