Description

Later 19th century. Roofed farm midden. Rectangular-plan;

built on slope with banked loading cartway and lavatory door

at upper level on twin-gabled north elevation, tall gabled

cartway projecting from south west corner at lower level;

hoist above for raising gate. Built of red rubble with ashlar

dressings. Small ventilators below eaves and in gable-heads. Gabled/piended slate roofs with rooflights and axial

ventilator.

Interior: roof timbers supported on cast-iron columns;

lavatory drains directly in to midden, with floor supported

on stone carbels.
