Description
The ivy-clad ruins of the old parish church and burial ground likely date to the 18th century. Only the east gable remains, and it is heavily overgrown with ivy, lacking any readily visible architectural details. The churchyard is enclosed by a rubble wall with two cast-iron gates.
The entrance is marked by pairs of rubble gate piers; one pair has chamfered ashlar coping, while the other features rubble construction with granite coping and ball finials.
The churchyard contains a variety of interesting gravestones, with a mix of 18th and 19th-century examples.
