Description
Greengate House is a late 18th-century terraced house located at 46 High Street in Kirkcudbright. The building is two stories tall and has four bays. It features painted render with contrasting margins and rusticated quoins on the right side. The entrance door is located in the off-centre right bay, which was previously situated in the off-centre left bay. To the right of the entrance, there is a pend with a brick arch and an inscribed panel above. The pend door is designed in the style of Charles Rennie Mackintosh. The first floor has four-pane sash windows, while the upper floor has six-pane sash windows. The house has an eaves cornice and a modern red tile roof.
