Description

36 High Street in Kirkcudbright is an early 19th-century terraced house. It has two storeys over a basement and features three bays with a pend on the left side. The exterior is made of painted rubble with rusticated quoins and margins. The central entrance has a round-arched, panelled door with responds on either side. The house has plate glass windows throughout and a blind panel above the pend on the left. It has straight skews and end stacks, along with a single-storey and attic rear wing. The roof is covered with slate.
