Description
Meinfoot is a late 18th/early 19th century H-plan farmhouse that was raised to two storeys in the mid-19th century. The farmhouse is constructed of rubble with painted ashlar margins; the western elevation has been whitewashed and features a blocked doorway. The south elevation has five bays, with the two outer bays being wider and hipped. A central gabled porch is present, and the windows are sash windows with a four-pane glazing pattern. A central gabled low rear wing faces north, with a modern porch and a modern slabbing area alongside. The building has corniced stacks and slate roofs. A steading is not included in the listing. The building's category was changed from B to C(S) on 4 October 1988.
