Description
This is a mid to late 19th-century, two-storey corner house that includes a shop. The building features painted stugged ashlar with margins. The southeast corner is canted at the ground level, where the shop door is located, and it is corbelled to a square shape above. The east elevation has three bays, with a central door facing Marrburn Road, while there are two bays on the Main Street side. The doors have rectangular fanlights above them, and there are three shop windows. The other windows throughout the building are all sash windows with 12-pane glazing. The house has corniced end and axial stacks, and it is topped with a slate roof that is piended at the south side.
