Description
7 1/2 St Andrew Street in Dumfries is a late 18th century building that stands three storeys tall and features four bays, along with a Victorian shop front. The exterior is finished in lined render, accented with red sandstone quoins and dressings. The ground floor has three equal bays and one narrow bay, which are separated by slender pilasters. The openings on the ground floor are shouldered-headed, with a two-light treatment above the transom in the inner bays. There is a plain fascia above the shop front. The upper floors are fitted with sash windows and are topped with a moulded eaves cornice. The building is covered with a slate roof.
