Description
14 St Andrew Street in Dumfries is a building likely constructed in the second half of the 18th century. It has two storeys and features five bays facing St Andrew Street, with a single bay piended end wall on Queensberry Street. The northeast angle is chamfered at the ground level and the exterior is rendered to resemble ashlar stone.
At the ground floor, there is a shop entrance from Queensberry Street, accompanied by a modern window. The St Andrew Street facade includes two windows and a central door, while the first floor has a single blocked window. The building primarily features sash windows with a 12-pane glazing pattern. Additional architectural details include a cornice, a single end stack, and a slated roof.
