Description
25 Main Street in Kirkcolm is a single-storey, three-bay cottage dating from the early to earlier 19th century, part of a terrace. The exterior is dry-dashed with a painted base course and painted raised margins.
On the west elevation facing Main Street, there is a door located at the center, flanked by windows in the outer bays. The south elevation is attached to the taller building at No 23 Main Street, known as the Blue Peter Hotel, while the north elevation is adjoined to No 27 Main Street.
The cottage features 4-pane glazing in sash and case windows, has no chimney stacks, and is topped with small grey slates.
