Description

Kinsale Tower is a circular tower built in 1820. It is constructed from rubble and tapers up to a rubble string course. The tower features a crenellated parapet with coping between the merlons. On the west side, below the band course, there is a sandstone panel inscribed with "Built by John 26th Lord Kingsale August 1820".
