Description
Neilson Square in Gatehouse of Fleet features a pair of two-storey, three-bay houses built in 1812 and restored in 1953. The houses are constructed from squared rubble with granite quoins and margins. Each house has central doors with narrow fanlights, and on either side of the doors are pairs of single light windows. The first floor has three windows in total. All windows are sash and case with 12-pane glazing. The buildings have corniced end and axial stacks, topped with slate roofs.
