Description
Scaurbridge House is a former manse built around 1840. It is a two-storey, three-bay structure made of lightly stugged pink ashlar with polished dressings. The central entrance features a pilastered doorpiece with a recessed panelled door and a fanlight above. The windows are adorned with bracketed shallow hoods and are sash windows throughout, displaying a lying-pane glazing pattern. The house has straight skews and end stacks with square flues that are linked by coping. The roof is slate-covered. There is a bipartite low west wing, and a modern conservatory is attached to the north wall of this wing.
