Black Park is an early 19th century, two-storey, three-bay farmhouse. It is constructed of painted rubble with polished raised angles and window margins. The building features a central projecting gabled porch. All windows are single light sashes with 12-pane glazing. The rear elevation is similar to the front but does not have polished margins. The farmhouse has flat skews, slate roofs, and corniced axial stacks.
