Description
Claycroft is a house that likely dates from the later 18th century and was raised to two storeys and enlarged in the early 19th century. It features a two-storey, three-bay main structure with single-storey wings on either side, each having two bays. The exterior is made of painted rubble, and there is a central doorway topped with a narrow fanlight. The house has single-light windows with four-pane sashes, and smaller windows on the first floor. The roofs are covered with slate, and there are corniced axial stacks along with piended roofs on the pavilions.
