Description

Mid 19th century. Partially unroofed single and 2-storey

ranges of rubble buildings groped around rectangular

courtyard. Partly domestic, partly stabling and coach houses

with hay lofts above. Rubble walling, partly rendered; red

sandstone angle and window margins. Windows single light sash

and case, glazing (where surviving) 12-pane. 2-storey square

dovecot tower with consoled corniced doorpiece to ground,

deep projecting cornice/rat course over 1st, red sandstone

panels, 3-layers of flight holes to 2nd. Deep eaves cornice,

pyramidal slate roof.
