Description

William Blore, architect. Built circa 1830. Single-storey

small lodge; rectangular-plan, with gabled porch at south end

of west wall, modern addition to east (rear). Rubble-built

with ashlar dressings and hood-moulds. West elevation:

depressed-arched doorway in porch; single window at left;

narrow light between these. Saw-toothed skews; central apex

stack; roofed with graded slates.

Buccleuch monogram above bipartite in south gable.
