Description

Chanlockfoot is a road bridge built around 1825. It features a single segmental arch that carries a farm track over Scaur Water. The bridge is constructed from rubble and has bull-faced voussoirs. It includes a ramped parapet that is splayed at the approaches, topped with red ashlar coping, although part of this coping has been repaired with concrete.
