Description
Eweslees is a two-story, three-bay house dating to 1727. It originally featured a wall-head pediment above the central entrance bay. Additions have been made to the sides and rear of the house, and it was abandoned by 1988. The exterior is harled, with exposed and recessed chamfered ashlar margins around the doorway. The ground-floor windows are sash windows with a 12-pane glazing pattern, while the smaller first-floor windows are sash windows with single panes. The roof is covered with graded slates, and the stacks have been cut down. The building was reclassified as a Category C(S) building due to its poor condition, having previously held a Category B designation.
