Description

Late 19th century. Arts and crafts 2-storey asymmetrical

cottage built as servants lodging to Milton Park. Roughcast

with polished sandstone margins, tiled roof.

Irregular main elevation with recessed door to extreme left.

Advanced gabled bay with tripartite windows, to right deeply

projecting bowed bay with 5-light windows. Each group of

lights set in panel of sandstone masonry with common

hoodmould. To right square headed pend to rear court with

lattice-wall to eaves screening linking passage. Steeply

pitched tile roof with ceramic finials to gables, axial

stacks wit octagonal cans.
