Description

Later 19th century. Single storey with attic, 3-bay, gabled L-plan cottage. Cream and pink squared and snecked sandstone rubble with polished ashlar dressings. Base course; raised margins to windows; stepped hoodmould over door; decorative bargeboarding (probably replacement) to gables; long and short quoins.

W (ENTRANCE) ELEVATION: advanced, gabled porch to re entrant angle to centre. Architraved doorway with square panel and stepped hoodmould above; bossed boarded door with decorative wrought-iron hinges; spike finial to gablehead above; window to right return. Window at ground in bay set back to right; gabled dormer window (casement) above; gablehead stack to S end. 3-light canted window with flat ogee roof in advanced bay to left; window to gablehead above.

Zinc, diamond-pane timber sash and case windows. Grey slate roof; ashlar coped gablehead stacks to N and S; cast-iron rainwater goods. Modern brick garage to S.
