Description

T F Hunt of London, 1815. Octagonal temple with circular dome.

4 shorter sides with projecting entablature on paired Ionic

columns. Cast-iron gates or grills with glazing behind on 3

longer sides, architraved semi-circular window above

entablature, 4th side infilled with masonry panel as background

for marble alto relievo by Turnerelli, replacement copy

1936, signed by Hermon Cawthra. Secondary cornice and blocking

course with dome above.
