Description
Castle Guest House, located at 16 Castle Street in Kirkcudbright, was built around 1860 and originally served as a bank with living quarters above. The building is two storeys high and features three bays. It is constructed from polished red sandstone, with a plinth, rusticated quoins, and a moulded cill course on the ground floor. The building is finished with an eaves course, a cornice, and a blocking course, along with corniced end stacks and a slate roof.
